We're a community of Alabama alumni, families, and fans who come together to celebrate our Crimson Tide roots while building lasting connections right here in San Antonio. From game-day watch parties to community events, we're proud to keep the Alabama spirit alive far from Tuscaloosa.

Our Mission

BAMA San Antonio is driven by two core commitments:

  • Scholarship Development — Investing in the next generation of Crimson Tide students

  • Fellowship — Bringing alumni and supporters together to celebrate our shared Alabama pride

Membership dues and proceeds from chapter events directly fund these efforts, ensuring our chapter's impact grows year after year.

Making an Impact — Together

As of 2026, BAMA San Antonio has raised over $401,000 in endowed scholarship funds, supporting four scholarships:

  • Andrew William Palmer Endowed Scholarship

  • William Alexander Gamble Endowed Scholarship

  • San Antonio Texas Endowed Scholarship

  • Avery Johnson Endowed Scholarship

Every dollar our chapter raises goes even further thanks to matching funds from the University of Alabama National Alumni Association — made possible by collegiate license plate proceeds. That means your support doesn't just help one student; it multiplies our chapter's reach and legacy.
